Set the vertical grid measure to 50 points (note that in computer terminology, points are synonymous with pixels), and give it a left inset of 25 points. Set the horizontal grid to 60 points and then click on OK to close the Grid dialog box. Now choose the HTML box tool (the button with the blue box) from the Tool palette. Drag out a box 60 points high (from the top of the page to the first horizontal grid line) and as wide as the page. Fill this by picking a colour from the Colors palette. In the final Web page, this will be built with tables, not a graphic block: using HTML boxes for block fills, where appropriate, is very efficient. Now click on the Page tab in the main window (or the Untitled page icon in the Site palette) to begin working on your actual page, rather than the master page. |
