Freeway provides flexible master pages, much like QuarkXPress (when it’s used properly). Set up master pages properly in the first place and you’ll save hours later on. Items placed on master pages appear on every page that uses that master. Click on the Master tab in the top-left of the main window (or click on the Master 1 page icon in the Site palette) to start working on the default master page. We’re going to set up a basic grid structure to help keep elements aligned as we work. This isn’t directly related to the HTML that will be created in the end it is purely a design grid but it will help ensure that the final HTML is more efficient. Go to the Page menu and choose Grids. |
