The site we’ll be building will use edge-to-edge fills and boxes. This is only possible using HTML level 4, so pick 4.0 from the Default HTML pop-up menu. (HTML 3.2 forces an eight pixel margin at the top and left edges of the browser window. As almost all Web browsers in use today are happy with HTML 4 pages, this shouldn’t be a problem, but be aware that those with older Web browsers will not see things exactly as you do.)
The default page size we’ll make is fairly small: 400 x 400 pixels. The final results will enlarge to fill the browser window width, but to prevent scrollbars appearing in smaller browser windows, we’ll work with relatively compact initial page sizes. |
