Use your Mac to make playlists for the Archos Jukebox and Jukebox Recorder MP3 players

The Archos Jukebox 6000 and Jukebox Recorder MP3 players are very cool high-capacity devices, offering 6Gb of pocket-sized space for your MP3 collection.

However for Macintosh users they do have one flaw: The Mac version of MusicMatch, the MP3 software bundled with the Jukebox hardware, does not make playlists which the Jukebox can use. In addition, its interface is not at all Mac-like or intuitive.

However, Mac users are blessed with two of the world's best MP3 software tools; Apple's iTunes and Panic Software's Audion. You can use either (or both) of these to organise your MP3 life... and now you can use Jukester to organise your mobile life as well, by creating playlists for your Archos Jukebox.

Jukester lets you creat playlists from the contents of your Jukebox, imports Audion playlists directly, and handles playlists exported from iTunes. It can also preview tracks directly from the Jukebox while connected to your Mac. And, last but not least, it is also totally free.
